PHP function rename
This function renames a file to a new name.
Syntax rename
- old is the old file name
- new is the new file name
rename(old, new);
Note
Linux command: rename oldname to newname
Return
Returns TRUE on success or FALSE on failure. Returns error when do not have permission on the file or directory.
