Php disk free space

PHP function disk_free_space

This function returns the free space in bytes, and it is equal to linux du command in linux to find out the size of a directory.

Syntax disk_free_space

• Dir: directory

disk_free_space(Dir);

Example 1

• In linux, you will get free space on the OS not on a directory even you assign the directory.

   echo disk_free_space("/home"); 
   echo "<br/>";
   echo disk_free_space("/var");
   echo "<br/>";
?>
