PHP function fileatime
This function returns last access time of file.
Syntax fileatime
- file: file name or path to the file name.
fileatime(file);
Note
Upon failure, an E_WARNING is emitted.

<?php $file ="myfile.txt"; if (file_exists($file)) { echo "$file was last accessed: " . date("F d Y H:i:s.", fileatime($file)); } ?>
Output
myfile.txt was last accessed: May 22 2012 06:34:26.
