Php filesize

PHP function filesize

This function returns file's size in bytes for a given file.

Syntax filesize

filename to check for a file size.

filesize(filename);

Note

Use the clearstatcache() function to clear the cache of the filesize() result.

Example 1

<?php 
  $file = 'myfile1.txt';

  $size = filesize($file);
  echo $size;
?>

Output

52
