PHP function chgrp
This function changes file group.
Syntax chgrp
- file: file name
- group: group name or group id
chgrp(file, group);
Return
- Return true when success.
- False on failure (Pass a non existed group, you get the warning).
Example 1: assign by group id
<?php $filename = "myfile.txt"; chgrp($filename,8); ?>
Example 2: assign by group name
<?php $filename = "myfile.txt"; chgrp($filename,"admin"); ?>
