Php is readable

PHP function is_readable

This function checks a file whether it is readable.

Syntax is_readable

filename is to check for readable.

is_readable(filename);

Return

Returns TRUE when a file is readable, else returns FALSE.

Note

The result of this function are cached, and uses clearstatcache() function to clear the cache.

if (is_readable($filename)) {
    echo 'The file is readable';

    echo 'The file is not readable';
