PHP function mkdir
This function makes a directory.
Syntax mkdir
- directory: name or path of the directory
- mode(optional): permission of the directory. Read linux permission for detail.
- recursive(optional): sets true to make nested directories specifies in the directory
- context (optional): sets the context of the file handle which specifies and modify the
behavior of a stream.
mkdir(dirctoryname,mode, recursive, context);
Return
Return TRUE when success, or otherwise return FALSE.
Example 1

Example 2
<?php mkdir('/test/sophal/abc',0777,true); ?>
Output
/test/ /test/sophal /test/sophal/abc
